I have a base dynoflash with tbe and mbc. I just purchased my hks 272 cams and want to put them in. Can I buy a safc and have a shop tune it for the cams or do I need to have al retune my computer?

 

Al would tell you to get another reflash, as it would yeild better results...its probably what i would do too. But you should be fine as long as the shop knows what they're doing and doesnt run you too lean. The A/F ratio is the A/F ratio invariably dependant upon which tuner you work with so it should be ok. But I would'nt get the AFC, I'd prolly do another reflash to be honest.

 

The purpose of the S-AFC is to tune it yourself. You don't buy it just so a shop can tune it for you. If you're going to pay money for someone else to tune your car, you might as well just get a re-flash.
