Service Engine Soon light...

On wednesday Installed my HKS RS intake, My Greddy type S BOV and my Dejon Tool Upper IC pipe and everything was running great but now I have a whistling sound from the BOV at very low rev, when im driving on the highway im constanly boosting or the BOV is just letting off air. Now this morning my Check engine light came on and the ride when I let off the gas is really "choppy." If you guys know anything any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi,

My first question would be do you have the snorkel still installed in your car? If so, did you properly mount the snorkel? Next, did you forget to connect the MAF sensor? Have you double checked all of your clamps to make sure there aren't any leaks?

Check for any vacuum leaks, that has caused a choppy idle in my old STi.

I'd double check for boost leaks -- the BOV should not do what you are describing.
