I have a question. I am i n the market for a boost controller( prolly forge), but i am looking towards the future towards EMS'. Do you need both of these, becuase can't you control all the variables of th engine through the management system?? I am thinking instead, mainly becuase i am not that familiar with tuning the engine,,, to simply get a mail-in-flash,, along with the boost controller?? any comments suggestions?

 

You can do anything you really want. If you want to do a flash and a bc go ahead. As far as a true ems system and a bc in conjunction, its not a question of if you NEED both. Its how you prefer to control boost and what systems you trust, and that depends on who you get to tune it and what they like to use.

I personally don't like flashes, and its my opinion that its money wasted since it has no user adjustability. Save money and buy something decent. You get what you pay for.
