Ecu/camshaft Question

Hi there im looking to install some HkS camshaft 272 in&outs on my evo 6, im a bit worried about the idling issues once its installed and would like someone to recomend me a good ecu campable of handling this setup without idling problems, not going to go for the autronics, motec & etc as its way out of my budget at the moment..i am considering the HKS F Con V Pro Gold but not really sure about this as i dont have much knowlegde about ecus.
hope u guys help.

HKS's solution only allows authorized tuners to tune it and they are very hard to come by, and since ur in the ECU+ forums i guess ur considering ECU+ and i can tell you that you could tune those cams yourself with ECU+

I have stock ECU, HKS 272s + cam gears and no idling issues (set at -4, -1).
The torque is shifted a little toward top end, but it's nothing to be worried about.

hi thanks for the reply guys, i thought that i would end up with idling issues after fitting 272 because someone mentioned on another forum that you would definately need an remappable ecu to make it run all smooth, but since you can use these cams with the stock ecu then i think i'll stick with it for the meantime until i can afford a decent one, just out of curiousity how much average bhp gains is it from a stock ecu and a mappable ecu? and also wat r the benefits for me as that im only after between then 400bhp section. thanks mart
