Operating temp idle help...

Ok guys. Anyway to control the idle when the car is in closed loop?

My car idles fine one minute, and the next its pig rich falling to around 300rpms barely staying alive. with the ac on, it will barely idle at all.

ive turned the idle up, but that ends up with my sitting at a redlight at 1200rpms just so it will idle with the AC on.

any tips? anything i can do?

still learning this utec, so bear with me guys!

Thanks,

Jeff

you have an obd reader? Tweak your fuel maps til it gets happy and stops changing the long and short term fuel trim.

the 0% column adjusts your MAF reading, which will allow you to alter your fuel trims (from 0rpm through 1250rpm).. Basically you alter your fuel trims until their within +/- 10%, and the car should stop resetting your trims and causing it to periodically run poorly.
