ok, i just got the second map from jester and i was wondering if anybody knew the boost level it should be set to?? i asked but i cant get an answer, also im still getting 2-3 counts of knock and sometimes it jumps to 7 counts for a short time.... also i just downloaded evoscan and i finally got the framework to work with vista but now when i try to run evoscan it askes me if i want to repair or remove evo scan, i try to repair it but it doesnt seem to work.. am i supposed to remove it or something??? im new to the logging and flashing so any help would be appreciated, thanx

I'm not sure about an VIII because I have a IX. You probably want your load calc no higher than 250 and It really depends on fuel and timing as to what boost you can run.

 

3 options for tuning where you're getting knock: decrease boost, decrease timing, increase fuel.

 

just change every number on you maps to 12. not 12.5 just 12. trust me your car wont ever give you problems after that, it wont even start.

its a jester tune, an its kinda random spikes to like 7 or 8 counts everynow and then, could an injector be going bad??

 

sounds like you need a tuner that responds to your issue.

bacially it's either too lean, too much timing or too much boost for the octane. without logs you can't tell.

 

i have logs but ive been waiting for a new 3rd map for about a week now AND i bought evoscan and it doesnt work and noone will help me fix hat either...
