2 Step or Antilag
I was thinking of buying an Ultimate from a friend but I dont see anything about it having a 2 step or launch aid to build boost. I currently have a flash that has a 2 step on it. My question is, is there a feature on the ultimate that has a launch aid or will i be able to keep my current 2 step settings?

Here is the thing about the Emanage: It is a piggyback. Having used them on numerous Hondas let me tell you that especially on an Evo it doesnt make sense. To use it right you need to log (which the Emanage does do VERY WELL) to see what the stock timing values, stock fueling, MIVEC, etc. are before you add anything to the car.
OR use Ecuflash and just look at the map
Next you need to setup the latency for the injectors EVEN if you havent made a change to the injector sizing.
OR use Ecuflash and just leave it alone
Proceeding on the list you need to by a V-Manage, log the car yet again to see what the stock MIVEC map looks like and then make some changes.
Or use Ecuflash and just look at the map.
The only reason I would ever install an Emanage Ultimate on my car before another option like a full standalone is I got it cheap or free off a Honda guy and needed 8 channels of datalogging for 1000min. Otherwise for almost all normal choices the stock ECU will work. Bigger turbos (like a 35R or larger) will need something else or a really really good tuner. Chances are to fully benefit they need a standalone at that point, though I dont count the stock ECU out yet. In any event, the Emanage wont cut the mustard as it only allows 20* timing changes and 50% fueling changes MAX.
just my input.
