Don't forget that if you take something off, your tune will probably need adjusted, especially the intake and VTA BOV

in 1st or 5-6th, the gauge boost doesnt go higher than 1-1.3, but in 2nd or 3rd gear, the boost shoots up right to the 1.5bar, and the needle stays there until i let off the gas.

A stock IX will not hold 1.5 on the gauge ... moer like 1.25 or so at WOT. It will generally spike to 1.4 or 1.5 depending on the gear.
