Ya I ran with the V1 on my wrx for years. Now that I moved over to an EVO I went with the V2 of course. Im a die hard Accessport fan. Having the V2 I think is worth the money. I dont have to pay for a protune everytime I swap parts. So in the long run I will save alot of money and I can tune the car myself.

don't mean to thread jack but if i have a cobb AP v2 that I bought for my 07 wrx, would i have to sell it and buy a seperate ap v2 for the evo x? or is there a way to update the firmware to have it functional with the evo x?

 

The AP can only be married to one car at a time also the Subaru's and EVO are different part #'s, you'd need the EVO specific part # to work on your vehicle.

There's no firmware update for something like this.
