What is the most HP increase with the AP

I don't know if this has been asked and answered before but I need to know before I make the plunge. I am looking for max HP accomplished with the AP and with what mods was needed to make it to that level. Currently I am trying to accomplish mid to high 300s wheel HP. My current mods are Cobb TBE. Greddy FMIC. Cone intake. That's it. I may be doing cams and an o2 housing soon. Any feedback will help

Thanks.

I responded to your other post about this in: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=382809

The tuning software it self can handle pretty much anything you throw at it as far as crazy parts go. The limitations could be endless but if you're looking for 300hp range that wouldn't be hard to obtain. Maybe the others here can chime in with their setups what took to accomplish that.

I thought about that already and I really like the flexability of the AP. If I change something in my setup I won't need to rely on another protune. The way I see it is that now the AP has many features a AEM can do.

V1 was a subaru thing. all AP's are now V2. all evo AP's are V2. if you buy used just make sure that it is unmarried. otherwise you will get screwed.

I am assumng if I buy it used and it's not then Cobb won't help in that situation. There is someone selling one used on the classified forums that doesn't have the cable. Are those attainable from Cobb.

You can purchase a new dongle through us, I believe they're around $80+ shipping.

Just make sure that the AccessPORT is unmarried(uninstalled)! To be sure the main menu screen will say "Install"; which means it's uninstalled. Hope that helps.

Cheers.

Dan,

I would first like to thank you for taking out your time helping me on this. The AP is the old style. Is there any difference in units. I would like to use the Data logging and ATR software you guys have now and if it cant support it then I am going to go a different route.

It's no problem. I believe we spoke on the phone earlier today correct? Well the version 1(v1) AP was never introduced for the Evo's; just the Subaru market. With that said all AP's made for the Evo are v2.

The differences in the two units is the v1's are bigger black box with green screens. The v2 is a multi-color screen with many other options/abilities and it's the current version we sell now.

The Data Logging feature can now be done with the AP handheld itself or with the free ATR (AccessTuner Race)
