4WS tuned....!! Finally fixed!
After encountering a myriad of problems the past two months with my car ...it's finally fixed! Thanks to Tamer/4WS tuning for making my car a street monster.
In two hours Tamer was able to erase 2 months of being annoyed with 3 other local shops!
Heres a run down...
-Only took 2 hours
-A/f's were spot on and conservative
-Tamer answered every single question I had and more
-Things that other tuners didn't bother with like part throttle and cruising speeds were done perfectly
-The car rips through every gear now
Stopped at a local dyno with a dynojet just for kicks and giggles to get some perspective. The car was actually backfiring on the dyno(new plugs robbed me of at least 15hp!!) and still made over 360whp!

335whp...all messed up on both kind of dynos( and the car felt slow)
AFTER 4WS tuning
375whp perfect daily driver (with more potential if i wanted it!)
And is faster than a new Vette coupe! (Ask me about it...;0)

Hard for me to say because I put them in with a couple other things at one time. Not to mention the place that I had them put in...did them wrong. My car was having problems that i had to diagnose for about 2 months. I will say this. My buddy has a basically stock 2003 Evo 8. With just exhaust , mbc and the bc cams and ecuflash he put down 311whp.
TAMER @ 4WS TUNING is the MANN! i won't deal with anyone else unless he changes his career ahha. however. cams on the 9 improve torq for the most part. when you upgrade your turbo you will see more gains on both ends as the cams are more beneficial on the evo 9 with a bigger turbo as the drastic change from a evo 8 with bigger cams.

Another hiccup fixed in this whole process. Let me just remind everyone to test for boost leaks whenever you do anything. I would have swore by the work that me and my friend do yet there they were. Two nasty boost leaks on both sides of the intercooler. One at the LICP and one that connects to the UICP. Car boosts quicker now and runs great. Me and my buddy fixed everything this morning.
