haha...dont worry the guy tuning my car found this statment just as entertaining! but on the real..i dont want a flame kit or any of that ****..just wanna kno howcome with the mods i have..even before the car was remapped i wasnt getting any sort of backfire or flame yet ive seen other evo's backfiring and shooting flame when they shift allll the timeee!! there must be a way to tune the car with the mods i have to achieve this! call me crazy nothing raises my pulse more than a loud BAP BAP!! :-)

Go to you local hardware store and get a BBQ ignition set. Drill and put a plug about 2" from the end of your tailpipe and mount the switch on your steering wheel. There is always some unburn fuel on the pipe if you are running a bit rich.

ok for all the clowns who cannot read properly, im gunna say this one last time before i delete this thread. its simple if you dont kno or cant shed light on this topic, dont post anything!
I would like to know, if theres a way of TUNING (NOT INTRESTED IN ANY STUPID FLAME KITs OR ANY OTHER TYPE OF GADGET THAT WILL MAKE A FLAME!!) my evo with the mods stated & thats not gunna hamper performance, so that it will backfire after u punch a gear or cause a flame because i see some evo's that run well and sound very healthy backfring and spitting flame..OR does that simply mean they are running too rich and in need of a proper tune?
