what kind of oil?

I bought an evo 9 a while back and its now time 4 an oil chance was wondering what brand vescoisty is better than the factory oil?
I was going to use 5w-40 royal purple but I was told that's not good 4 high boost cars.

Anyone got suggestions?

AMSOil, nothing is better! Except every other brand that these other members use (just trying to avoid any arguments of course). I run it year round at stock weight, replace evey 2000 miles. Amsoil does kick butt and *** and booty all at the same time which means its great if that is what your looking for

Good Luck to you...if you are confused by all the input about this very general topic, my main advice to you is to definately use some brand of oil as compared to none at all

I used Mobil 1 for the first ~58K miles. I switched to Amsoil Dominator 10w-30 when I went to E85. Both work great, no issues.
