Ok so car started to bog down when I press on the gas in the 2000-4000 rpm anything higher it would smooth out. I also noticed that there was quite a bit of power loss after this started to happen and a lot more gas consumption. Another thing that started to happen is a warning light on the dash that is a box with 4 wavy lines above it indicating something is hot and I have been told this is a warning that my cat is too hot.

I have checked the spark plugs and wires both brand new and worked fine in another evo.

please help I`m thinking it is fuel related but don`t want to start replacing everything.
