Is this considered knock?

Is this considered knock?

I recently got my car tuned. running 24 psi. Sometimes when i get on it the car feels like it cuts out for a split second. maybe leak a from stock bov? boost holds. only happens once in a while. is this knock?

Best way to answer that is to get a tactrix cable, download Evoscan, and log some data. The knocksum parameter will tell you whats up.

Are you feeling this issue soon after the boost spikes? Knocking tends to happen at high load and low rpm because the slower piston speed allows more time for predetonation to occur.

You probably have a leak. Are you running a mbc? Make sure all your vac lines in are in securely. Run some test.

It could be heavy knock, that sounds kind of like misfire. Does it make any noise? If it is you might want to check your plugs and coils. GL
