Newb LC-1 issue, help please.
I recently purchased a 03 with an LC-1 wired into the ECU and has a tune. Not knowing what I know now, I didnt know what the red button was in my ash tray, so I pressed it. Obviously not good.
Took the car for a ride and no surprise it drove like ****. I then did some research and now know it is the calibration button for the LC-1. I proceeded to do a free air calibration thinking thats all it needed. Afterwards I still got an error code so I thought my sensor was toast. Installed a new sensor, calibrated it, and it is still not working correctly.
Sometimes when I turn the car on the led light will stay solid (like it should) for a while but after a little it will still flash. Im kinda lost at this point and looking for help. Is there a better way to reset the LC-1? I didnt check the grounds but it seemed to be working okay before I pressed the button so I assume they are okay.

do a calibration as in a new install. i.e don;t use the button.
iirc you unplug the sensor then power up for 30secs etc its all in the quick startup guide

Yeah i did all of the for new install. Unplug sensor from unit, power up for 20 secs, turn-off, connect sensor, warm up sensor, free air calibrate (push and hold button for 30 secs), reinstall O2.
Not rocket science and as far as I understand I need to free air calibrate which needs the button pushed.
maybe who ever installed it set the output to some unstandard setting and made changes to the rom to suit
i.e the narrowband normally 0-1v and wide 0-5v
so you need to know what range your ecu is expecting and then set the output that goes to the ecu in lm manager to the correct scale

That wouldn't make the LC-1 show an error would it? Just make your car run like garbage.

earlier when i said don't use the button, is because i had miss read the instruction and have recalibrated without doing the button bit at the end.
rightly or wrongly!
however when doing it my way it does recalibrate
you could try it ? have nothing to loose.
