standalones with knock control?
I am in with the NW dealer for Motec and ViPec but not a Haltech dealer as far as I know. I will attempt to contact John if he is in the country right now and see what pricing we are looking at for both boxes.

ProEFI 128 does internal knock sensing without buying an extra box, and it uses digital sound processing (which the Link, Vipec, and most standalones don't). Mitsubishi's OE ECU uses digital sound processing.
They all handle "knock" events as sound. The difference is that digital processing does a better job (supposedly) of differentiating noise from actual knock events, as compared to analog processing. Maybe its a trivial detail, but since I know about it, I wouldn't be choosing to spend money on a standalone with knock sensing capabilities which aren't even equal to Mitsu OE.
