Aem failsafe tuning/ wiring
Aem failsafe tuning/ wiring
I know by wiring into my rear o2 I will be able to log my a/f ratios, but my question is since the failsafe can log boost and has a wire to tap into map, can I wire it to the map and keep from having to buy a 4 bar? Or is that only or use with aems ems? Also to wire it is all I need to do is tap into either of the two wires on the boost solenoid for the failsafe option?

This link here shows him running a power wire to the opposite wire on his solenoid so it through me off...any info is greatly appreciated

You will need to install the Provided WB Sensor into the Rear Port.
You must log your AFR Before your Cat if you have one.
It comes with a boost line, so you need to tap into a booost line on your intake manifold for PSI
When the failsafe activates you can wire into just about anything that takes that signal. A boost controller is the best way to do it.
I have one in my car, and it works great. I love the new clips they have on the gauge, and it looks clean as hell in the dark.
