Works flawless with the 9055xxxx sd Roms

The same but different Rom is applying to EDM LHD Evo 8´s GSR
I would be surprised if this 7 didn't work with the 9653 series of ROMs also. I have used 9653 on several 7s and other cars with 7 ECUs.

We actually got it to start with a SD ROM (not sure which) in it, but it is missing(sounds like a Subaru) and the tuner is doing a great job, but if anyone could shed some light, would be great.

Both 96531706 and 90556701 work, but both have the timing jumping up and down several times a second. Never seen anything like it. It's got to be the tune because it didn't do that on 90550701 (MAF). Everything else looks great.

Anyone have insight?

If that's an idle log it will do that as part of the idle control strategy.

Main issue was that the EDM Evo 7 has an reversed Idle Stepper versus USDM / EDM Evo 8. Swapping some wires can fix that.
Edm Evo 7 Has the SAS System equipped. ( Also Purge and Evap simple system )
Immobilizers are totally different ( Evo7 MIS sys Evo8 + MEIS system )
Clutch switch also inverse for 9055 vs Evo 8 ( needed for the NLTS system )

nothing what makes trouble....normally

Major Difference : Throttle Body Evo7 has an High idle thermal actuator heated by the Water lines. ( similar to the DSM´s )
This was skipped Evo 8 and later...( maybe the 2003 Evo 8 still has that...)

This was one of the culprits when using an AEM 30-1313 in the Evo7, since the Idle was bouncing a lot during Warmup, since the Thermal Actuator worked as an Bypass for the Throttle blade by Water Temps and sometimes kicks in during Winter under Boost ( lift off, and the Rpm drops not fast enough to get back into Idle control )

Figured it out. There's no ignition signal from the ECU to coils 2 & 3. Getting that fixed and will report back. Thanks for all the suggestions!

Good to know this...

Just for the sake of knowledge , if there was completely no signal to coil 2 & 3 the car started up on 2 cylinders ?

It has 0.0v pulsing from pin #23 from ECU. Pin #10 has 0.2v pulsing from ECU.
