Thought it was the engine... Turns out it's ECU?

Here is the original post ( https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...hat-could.html )

I'll give a quick write up of what happened.

I was driving my car and when I hit the o2 Dump my car slowly turned off. I pulled over and tried to fire it up again. The car seemed to have started but for not even half a second. The RPM's were really low, which is why I think the car died. I took it to one of our dealerships mechanics and he said that the ECU wasn't getting through to the injectors, and that my ECU was bad. I was informed that I would need a complete new ECU. I'm not sure if he meant the tune on the ECU was bad, or if it was actually just the entire ECU. I'm wondering if it's a possibility that the stock ECU just went bad. The car is about full bolton, 1350cc injectors, gsc s2's, and is only filled with e85. The car was tuned at English Racing. I've tried getting in contact with them to see if they can look at it if I towed it to them.

Right now I'm just wondering if it's a bad ECU or a bad tune..? Let me know what you guys think, and help is greatly appreciated.

Does the check light come on (and then go back off)when you turn the ignition on?

I'd have to go down to the shop and check it out. However I'm pretty sure it does, yes.

Does that mean it is directly related to a bad ECU?

He said it couldn't be a sensor when I asked him. It started after the incident and he said no check engine lights or anything of the sort came up while the car was turned on.
