New turbo, pull timing before Dyno tune?
I recently finished up my install of a JB FP Black and everything that goes with installing it. Last year I had a modified Evo 9 turbo, and I had pushed the timing pretty high to get my best pass of the season at the track. After installing this turbo and easing into boost a little at a time, half throttle is fine but anything more leads to 6+ counts of detonation, which I expect on a car with a turbo it wasn't tuned for. My question is, should I pull 2-4 degrees of timing out of the upper part of the map to try to prevent any damage on the dyno? Or inform the tuner and leave it all to them. Boost is currently on wastegate at about 22 psi.

Im planning on taking it to Buschur, haven't contacted him about it yet though.
Fuel looked decent for the short time I was in it, 11.4-11.7, but it's on less boost. At 22 now, was at 28
