EVO ACD Communications
Hi all,
Long time stalker, first time poster.
I am trying to create an arduino device that interfaces with the factory EVO ACD unit to read the values that the ACD ECU provides.
Main reason for this is so I can then re-transmit these channels over canbus to an aftermarket ECU as inputs.
I am struggling to find information on initialising the ACD ECU over MUTIII.
I know it's possible, as evoscan can read these values...
Can anyone provide me with any initialisation info on this?
I can initialize the normal vehicle ECU fine, as I can find plenty of info on that online, it's just the ACD stuff that seems to be near impossible.
Thanks!

don't have ACD so not too knowledgeable there, but you could always sniff the k-line while having evoscan connect to the acd ecu.

Yeah, thats what im going to be trying this weekend with a driver shim.
I was just hoping someone may actually know without me having to go and do it that way.

have a look here :https://evoecu.logic.net/wiki/MUT_Protocol
Ecu id (as far as i Know ) is 0003 for ACD/AYC
Also response bytes are different ( of course since another ECU than the ECM )

while i haven't really looked into it, you might be able to use wireshark to capture the com port traffic, instead of having to go to the hardware layer and scoping the k-line. Might be worth looking into anyway.
