Ok.. instead of reviving an old thread.. Here's a list of features that would make sense to add to the UTEC.. Of course, would guarantee quite a few new sales just for the anti-stall feature alone..

1) Idle stabilization (see this thread https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...2&page=3&pp=15 ) for a suggestion on how it would work, and what likely causes it..

2) Direct control of the Idle air control motor (and Idle RPM)

3) Control of the A/C compressor (Disengage over a particular RPM and/or TPS)

4) MAF INPUT TRANSLATION.. So people can run aftermarket MAF sensors and have a wiring harness to adapt a GM or Ford Cobra MAF sensor and IAT sensor to the stock wiring harness. (you can use a speed density conversion too, with a conversion harness that just uses an Intake Air temp sensor and your 3Bar Map sensor.)

5) Conversion harness for an aftermarket Boost control solenoid (and translation to make the factory ECU happy) PLEASE do this one.. I'll work with you guys on this one, I really need something that doesnt use a bleed system for boost control..

I have a few others on my list.. But this is all I can think of at this time..

Built in Turbo timer would be a nice option as well.....

I really Dont feel like spending the money on one right now.

Our stock turbo is oil and water cooled.. Its not necessary to use a Turbo Timer, just idle for a few seconds before shutting it down.. Its a cool idea, not sure if it would be possible though..

 

We are trying our best to get things like that to release as soon as possible. We want to get you guys to have fixed fueling software first I am sure you will like it. One step at a time though. MAF transalation Boost control, did you know that we specialize in boost control . Jason Hunt... ring a bell?????

LOL I actually am putting together my own "aftermarket" boost solenoid setup.. I'm hoping TXS likes the setup enough to consider offering a version of it (using their own parts of course..)
