2.3 stroker kit just put in but car won't start, please help!

I blew my evo about four months ago. got a 2.3 stroker and finished putting it in 2wks ago. go to start it, (it cranks over fine) but there is no spark and no power to the fuel pump. checked fuel pump, its ok. OBDII reads 3 codes(p0118,p0113,p0108:intake air temp high input, water temp high input, manifold absolute pressure high input). Try to erase these and it works, but as soon as I read it again they show up again. I have replaced MAP sensor and tried a different MAF and still same codes show up. someone said in another thread to reset immobilizer, but that doesn't make sense, why would it be reading codes also if it was just the immobilzer. and if that is the case, how do you reset the immobilzer? Also can I try my friends ecu(he has an AEM) in my car to see if it works? any help would be much appreciated, I just want my evo to run again, its been way to long.

Did you check to see if your motor was at TDC? You probably did if you put the 2.3 in by yourself, just a thought.

yup, that was a pain in itself, but it's timed perfectly and plus, if it wasn't for some odd reason, wouldn't I get a code for that? Thanks for the reply though.

It sounds like you should start over from the basics. fuel, spark, timiming. if you have these things the engine will run. sounds like you are missing at least one of them. i would go back over everything.

also just as an fyi, if you can, have someone new take a look at whats going on.

I helped him put in the engine. No spark or fuel. Followed the mitsu manual and hot wired the fuel pump. It works fine. The combination of codes or somthing else is causing the ecu not to run fuel or fire. When we put in all my censors from my evo, we still get the codes. So ime sure his sensors are good. Putting in my ECU wont work because its not coded for his car. Anyways, if his ecu was bad, i think we would have gotten a code for that. Ime going to run a continuity test on all the censor wires....after that, ime lost.....He has a remote start alarm. Could that be an issue???

i would start with that..

i had smae problem and checked everything with no results it ended up being a bad crank shaft sensor mine was broke in half check it out might just be the same for you

just to make things easier, disable the remote start.........check the connections at those sensors (especially if they were hardwired/re-soddered/whatever) hopefully nothings reversed.

one of the guys at mitsubishi told me the same thing. I've checked it and it looks like it is good. Did you ever get a code for that?

ya me too.

I troubleshooted the codes and it's telling me I have a bad ECM. I think I might upgrade to a stand alone.

a code never came up untill i had taken everything apart the sensor is 2 magnets close togther where the timing grear goes in between to ignite and the magnets where stuck togther so a code never can up pain in the butt it took me forever to find it out the peices from the sensor shedded up the balance shaft belt thats how i knew there was something in there that was wrong when i saw the shedded belt with the cam cover off.
