Can't get mistulogger and inovative to work
 

I keep getting an error when trying to log my wideband in mitsulogger. I have an lc-1 with adpter for serial to usb with vista. Any ideas? thanks

if you have tried aktive matrix you know there is a little difficulty with Vista & mitsuloger/innovate

What error are you getting?

Vista is quirky.. I'm sure the problem he's getting is due to the fact that the MTS.DLL file cannot be registered properly without using administrator credentials. And its difficult to document a procedure to do this easily for people who arent very comfortable with computers.

I have to release a version of mitsulogger that has a real installer, but that might not happen any time soon.

This is a common problem that happens with many programs in vista though. If you look up "registering a DLL in vista" in google, you can get some insight on how to do it.. just need to know the path to the MTS.DLL file (for example, c:\mitsulogger\mts.dll if you extracted the files t c:\mitsulogger)

Vista/Mitsulogger/Inovative don't mix
 

It was all vistas' fault. I switched to xp but it still didn't work. I registered the inovative dll's in xp and WALA it worked. I couldn't get vista to register the dll's. I like vista, just get alot of problems with programs that I enjoy using.
