Best place to get tuned in norcal?

As the title states, what's the best place for me to get tuned in norcal? I have been waiting 5+ months for Bryan @ gst but he's no longer responding to me and I'm ready to go elsewhere now since I haven't been able put my foot to the floor on my new motor @ turbo yet. I live in Santa Rosa but I'm willing to drive a few hours. Thanks for your help guys and gals:beer:

Works motor sports! They're located @ Infineon raceway. They tuned my bro's evo and couple other friends.. you won't be disappointed. Btw, I'm also located in Santa Rosa.

I can show you logs of WORKS tunes that knock all across the board. I dont recommend them for tuning. Their parts are good though, as I do run a WORKS DP {thumbup}

I'm more than willing to drive for a good tuner, but preferably not 8 hours each way (:

SE doesn't tune in house anymore at least as of April/May time frame. Kind of a bummer.

They used FFTEC for my tune and they did a good job.

WORKS, GST, FFTEC, EIP, and the list goes on.

why not do remote tuning with Mellon?

TougeGod7 Sep 6, 2010 04:11 PM

i'd go to FFTEC the boys over there really know there stuff! as much as i like GST they're more of a suby shop than an evo shop and it takes 4ever to get an appointment with bryan :P also try hitting up evoempire.org it will be a lot easier getting info about shops seeing that almost everybody on that site is located in norcal :D

I'll give Jay at Boosted Tuning my vote. Cool guy who knows his stuff. His prices are good as well. The only thing that someone could say about his business is that he only does road tunes and email tunes. No dyno. However I prefer a road tune anyhow. He installed and scaled my injectors. He made sure the scaling was as close to perfect as possible. My car runs great and I will be seeing him soon for my e85 tune. If you are in doubt at all check out some of his posts in the ecuflash section.
