EVO9 - Revs won't return to idle
 

Hi - I have an Evo9 with Cobb Accessport maps for E85 and 91 with 1000cc injectors and some other mods.

I recently had a clutch replaced and ever since the car is behaving strangely. If I rev the motor to 5k rpm or higher to shift, it continues to rev that high when I press the clutch. I need to wait several seconds for the motor to settle back to idle. Any suggestions?

The tune was done 5 years ago and I never had this issue before the clutch replacement, yet my mechanic thinks it's probably the tune causing this rather than a mechanical issue.

Any help greatly appreciated!

Light weight flywheel?

Turned out to be just a bad ground strap from battery to chassis. Thanks
