I received my JDM IX rear bumper last week and it was installed this weekend. Fitment because of the exhaust was an issue (not a Gruppe-S problem) but other than that it's on the car.
I wanted to give a thanks to Gruppe-S for working through the issues and finally getting the bumper to me after the long wait.
The story goes...
June 20th ordered a silver JDM rear bumper from Gruppe-S over the phone. They told me it was in stock and would be shipped Friday when they brought all the orders for the week down to the Greyhound shipping station to send out.
I received a PDF invoice the following week indicating that the shipment was sent on June 23rd and received a corresponding tracking number.
Originally I had been told it would be delivered to the Greyhound station at the end of the week (June 30th) and that someone would call me that it was ready for pickup.
I called Greyhound periodically before the 30th and after the 4th of July weekend but still no delivery. By the end of the week (July 7th) I called Gruppe-S becase I was getting concerned. They called Greyhound and confirmed it was 'in-transit' and it should arrive within the next day of so.
Long story short, after no bumper showed, Gruppe-S had to file a claim with Greyhound to find the missing bumper. At first they were going to make me wait and only send me a new bumper or a refund AFTER they claim had been processed and Greyhound refunded them.
However after some persuasive 'convincing', I was able to get Preston to talk to the managing partner at Gruppe-S to explain the situation. I commend Gruppe-S for dealing with the issue internally with Greyhound and shipping me another bumper from the next shipment.
The bumper was shipped July 21st and I received notice from the Greyhound station Monday, July 24th it was delivered.
In summary while it took some arm twisting to do the right thing, it says a lot of management for handling an issue which was not directly their problem (but obviously not the customer's), the right way.
It's service like this which will keep me as a customer and I hope others in the future.

congrats, lucky you because I ordered my jdm evo ix front on june 28th and it was a few days too late to be on that freight. Now I have to wait to receive it at the end of August...
