Need Help Passing Emission!!!!

I tried doing a search, and every post is about headers and cat that deals with passing emission. My lancer is boosted and i have a CEL for running rich. Is there anything i can do to make my CEL disappear so i can pass emission. I have a custom t25 setup with e-manage and 440 injectors. I have a O2 sim on my bank 2 O2 sensor. I really need to pass my emission by jan 17. PLEASE!!!! HELP ME.

Lean out the mix. You have an emanage right? Use it.

do you have both cats under the car?? If not bend over because running rich or not, you fail.

Lean out the mix, how rich are you running? Do you have a wideband? 440cc injectors are a little much for the lancer unless you're running hardcore boost. I would say the most reliable fix would be to downgrade to 370cc injectors and retune. And are you sure the CEL is for too rich? You pulled the codes?

With an '02 shouldn't you only have to pass an electronic scan? You have the O2 sim, so that should work for these purposes. If you have a code that say's you're running rich, then you're O2 sim isn't working, is it?

As it's been said ... lean the mix if that is the problem.

I had the same thing, but I can't get my light to ever go off... so up here in ohio, you can pass the test with a waiver if you spend 300 bones toward "emission fixes." so i put the money I was spending for tuning toward the "emission fixes" which got me a tune and emissions waiver because I put an O2 sensor and stuff on...

Here in PA we just use the OBD2 computer scan for emissions. I'm a Toyota tech and have had a friend with a boosted Paseo run into the same problem. We cleared the codes, which resets all the readiness monitors in the computer. He then drove it normally without boosting at all, wastegate spring out, until he completed all the drive cycles and the monitors were reset, all except the evap monitor. That one takes a few days. Tested it, passed, then back to boosting. If you guys have dyno tests with an exhaust gas analyzer then your screwed. The only time you should be running rich is when you are under boost. Are you running an adjustable fuel pressure regulator?

I think you need the codes cleared, after you retune go into Auto zone or schucks they should clear your codes for free, thats what I have heard at least.

This may be a dumb question. With an RRM stage 1 kit on my car, will I pass emisions?
