Well, at least with folks like Jake, I'll have plenty of guineau pigs to find out of the tranny can handle the power.
Then I can safely buy my RRM turbo kit after I finish making the massive car payments.

Expensive transmission to be playing with, though. And it's non-serviceable, so if something in the tranny breaks, you're buying a whole new one.

Modifying a car is always a gamble. I just feel like the CVT makes it a more interesting gamble. Higher stakes and all that.

i think the cvt will last a little while if u keep it under 300hp/tq and start out slow in 1st to get it going like it does stock. if you try to launch it the belt will slip prob.

I second that. Except that I can't drive a stick.

Man....that is some serious IC piping. I guess that is one of the draw backs of having the exhaust on the back. Is there any possibility of running the piping underneath? Do we yet know the capability of the MAFS? Are you tuning just fuel or have you been able to get the timing and MIVEC under control? Are you using a universal AFPR or developing a new one? Is there commonality with any other fuel pump or injectors? Internally gated or externally? Cast manifold or tubular? Are you guys gonna support this with a full 3" exhaust? Are you or anyone else working on a clutch? Sorry there is so many questions, I am just trying to figure out whether all the supporting mods will be out at the same time and what kind of pieces will come with the kit.

Also are there any plans to relocate the MAFS after the BOV so it can be properly vented?
