if your not going to upgrade the car properly dont do it at all. please stop making threads asking the same things over and over. your talking a difference of about 200$ on a build.. there the easiest things to install on a turbo build.

if it takes you a whole year to get the parts to do your own turbo kit right, then it takes a while..
if you cant hold off to get the simple parts that you NEED, then you need to be not trying to do your own turbo kit, and you should go buy one of RRMS kits instead.

I agree, but to answer your question you can run 7psi on your stock car but you will need a greddy E-manage or apexi safc 2, ect. basically an air feul controller

You can get some used wrx 440cc injectors and a new walbro 255 lph fuel pump for about $200. You would jut have to pony up $40-200 for the fpr...

$100 for used 440cc WRX injectors
(optional $100 for getting the injectors cleaned and flow tested to make sure they're working)
$90 for walbro fuel pump
$140 for FPR

Depending on which FPR you go with, you'll have to buy a gauge that'll go on the FPR, fittings, fuel lines, which isn't cheap.

sorry that came off rude, but you should just make your own turbo thread and keep updating it with questions, and post up anything you have purchased and pictures also, helps out the community alot

incorrect, you do not need greddy e-manage or apexi safc2, evoscan/ECUflash work perfectly for lower boost applications, anything beyond the 10psi mark i would suggest just upgrading to a standalone since our cars ecu does not correct fuel maps for boost

if you read further into boosting our cars, they are considered good up to about 7psi and nothing further, but why spend the money on a part that you will just need to replace later if you ever want more boost, and you will, boost is addicting

no 200 for just used wrx injectors and a new fuel pump, fpr isnt 100% needed if you get your car tuned properly

yeah ill be making a thread soon to show progress on turbo'ing my car im just still trying to figure everything out.

what exactly is evo scan or ecu flash? is it simmilar to a AFC

and getting it tuned properly do you mean taking it down to a shop and having it proffestionly tuned.

or just having it tuned by somone thats knows how and has done it before.

i would recommend using a professional. if a local shop tunes a decent amount of evos, they can use the same program on your car to log and tune with. ecuflash is just the most commonly used program.
i normally suggest to all my local guys to use TouringBubble (evom alias) he has done a great job on my car with were its at right now.

ewww.. well im not 100% sure... i would have to say it depends on the setup and what turbo and everything.. but i know of a few guys that havent been tuned yet and they drive them..

my car couldnt even idle when we first started her up.. luckly my tuner came to the fab shop to dial the car in a little just so i could drive her home.. but the car needs to be tuned asap..

Because none of this **** was out when i had my lancer. The only option was a rrm kit or tsi. I imported the RPW hardware and the fmu worked well enough for what was available 3+ years ago. Not to mention i think i would survive loosing out on like the $50 i spent on one
