16g oil feed / return
16g oil feed / return & other questions
Would it be better to use this than a stock oil feed line?

What about this for the return line, since my turbo was missing the stock one when I received it?

If that would work, how would I fit it up properly to a ss line so it would not leak?
thanks

Also, what about the stock evo intercooler piping, what would I need to do to get it to fit on an auto tranny besides relocate the battery and move the coolant resovoir?
Thats just about it. If youre running manifold to turbo you'll be good to go. If you happened to run RRM's kit with the J-pipe you'd have to lose that wind shield washer bottle. Bt other than that things fall into place nicely. You might even be able to sqeeze by with a mini battery.
Well I already have rather large power wire ran to the trunk so it would be easier to just do that.
What would be a good idea to upgrade with the piping while I have it? Like couplers, clamps etc.?

I would buy the oil feed line kit for the 16g turbo from RoadRaceMotorsports and would buy a oil filter sandwich adapter from GlowShift Gauges that Way you dont have to tap your oil pan
^^^Whoa! What?! No, that wouldnt work. The oil return is gravity fed, thats why you have to tap the pan in a specific place. (Not too low on the black part). The spot where an oil sandwich adapter would go is a crazy and risky spot to be returning oil. The line would have to as near straight as possible with no sags or droops (since oil is falling into it and not "pushed").
Tap the pan bro. I have the taps and drill bit for sale if you need it. Its not hard, I promise!

drill and tap.. or get a good aluminum fitting to weld in..(mine is welded it)
all u need is the feed line and the fitting for the retrun line.. the braided hose for the feed line and also a high temp silicon or rubber hose for the return line.. all will work just fine.. no point in buying a kit to do it.. all u need is the fittings.. rest u can get locally for cheaper..
