Mitsu.kid.02s Turbo thread!

Hey everyone!

Time to boost the lancer! Im in the process of of gathering all the parts i need for the build! I have a 2002 lancer oz, auto trans, 123k on the odo, car runs mint! So i bought a partialy built turbo from sawulkn which has been a great start! I plan on installing in about a month or so. Im using the e-manage blue to start off its already wired up to the car, down the road im going to get the tactrix cable and learn about flashing and what not, but im using blue right now. Wanna boost at 5PSI to start. So what i have so far:

16g turbo
oil lines
forge ajustable wastegate actuator
5-10 spring
RC-370cc injectors
evo downpipe
greddy e-manage blue
meagan mani with 4g94 flange
invadia 02 housing
evo 8 BOV
evo 8 intake
cone filter
evo 8 intercooler
evo 8 intercooler pipes and couplers
evo 9 j-pipe
oil pressure gauge
Boost gauge
Vac lines
trans cooler
slim fan
AEM wideband
4 BKR7E spark plugs

Will the stock fuel pump be ok with the 330's at 5PSI? JRR runs the stock pump at 15!

I think the stock pump will be "ok", and I am risking it with my build at 8psi....but from a sanity standpoint, why risk it for a 100dollar upgrade? It's worth getting the fuel pump, perhaps an EvoX pump, I hear they fit...haven't confirmed though.

Ya thats pretts sick, i mean 5PSI is really nothing compared to 15PSI, ill prob get one just to be safe, if i catch myself running to lean ill install it, but i have the 5-10 spring without a MBC so i should be locked in at 5 PSI max. Anyone know how good the auto trans is with boost?? Will the trans cooler make a difference or na?

get a mitsubishi eclipse gsx pump , its cheaper then an evo pump and flows about the same and is a direct fit unlike the evo pump which is longer then the stock lancer pump

One question. is the j-pipe connected to the turbo right now? I ask because I recieved a 8 j-pipe with my turbo. Then also recieved a jpipe with all of my IC piping I got off a guy with a 9 so I assume its a 9 jpipe which did not fit my turbo with the forge WGA. Just curious

I think its more like 3-4 psi, because I never put a MBC on mine and thats the highest I could go, and thats still sealing up all the leaks I had

whatever spring pressure you have you will never hit. you will get close but it wont be the full boost. so in other words running w/g spring of 10psi you will get maybe 9.5 psi because at that point the w/g is starting to open and bleeding off the extra pressure in the system. now when you add a boost controller to the system then you mess with the pressures on the spring and the diaphram of the w/g. i got a video ill post up about w/g's and stuff. i thought i knew a lot but not as much as what i learned there.

even without my mbc installed i easily go up to 10psi on my 5-10 spring so there must be something wrong if you cant get that high
and my auto has been holding up just fine at 10psi
