question about t3/t4 hybrid's in lancer

I am wanting to get a t3/t4 hybrid turbo kit in my car and was wondering what kind of engine components i would have to get. I already know i need forged pistons and forged crankshaft but what other things, i pretty much need a list of what in need to change. Also i don't know if i need to rebore the engine, i think it should be fine. i am thinking about a turbo with 400 hp gain or one with 250 hp gain

You don't need a forged crankshaft, and pistons aren't necessary, but advised. If anything you should do rods beforehand. You can't really bore the block because it's more or less at max capacity w/o sleeves. Try looking at other peoples' turbocharged Lancers (pretty much anyone not running a base kit, because they're pretty much bare minimum), and read through these forums. You'll find tons if you look.

There's only a few T3/T4 hybrids out there, and they're sorta pushing the edge of usefullness when it comes to the size of the turbo, but if that's what you already have or have your heart set on, it's certainly a viable turbo. Good luck.

First things to change though would be injectors and fuel pump. The rest you can find on your own. ;)

400hp is going to take a LOT of work. 250 is fairly easily doable, but as a hp figure, not added hp. ADDING 250 hp is where you're gonna be more or less building from the block up.

i didn't quite get that last sentence, are you saying that if i am adding 250 hp or more i will pretty much have to rebuild the engine? also why would you not go for the t3/t4 hybrid, my friend told me it is one of the better ways for me to go since it spools up so fast and still gives high horsepower games? and if you don't recomend that what turbo do you recomend.

Do you know how to read a compressor map? Think you can find me one on the T3/T4 you plan on getting? I've had no luck and I don't have the time to keep doing this at work. Last I checked it's a fairly laggy combo on a motor that only revs to 6,250 before fuel cut.

Adding 250hp means you'll have a 370chp motor. That's going to mean forged pistons and connecting rods, but more importantly a fuel system capable of flowing that much fuel.

i looked on their website for the compressor map but they don't have the maps for the t3/t4 hybrid. So if you don't recomend the hybrid turbo what do you recomend for the lancer

Who's built the T3/T4 you want? Housing and compressor wheel size can be different from what I stumbled across. I've seen T4's with smaller compressors than my T3, BUT I haven't been able to find compressor maps for them. My belief is that they might actually be outflowed at the usable RPM's that the Lancer would provide.

If you want to be in positive boost before 2,500 RPMs I'd recommend a T3 or T28, but since your HP goal is so high I'm thinking you'd want teh T3. With a proper manifold you'll be able to spool it up quickly enough and have plenty of boost on hand early in the RPM's. Of course, if you want a dynoqueen, a larger turbine will probably pull you bigger peak numbers. My own personal feeling though is that peak numbers are garbage. HP/TQ numbers are useless if you never see them while driving or only for a fraction of the time. Then again, I can't really say anything definite without seeing a map for the T3/T4 you had in mind.

The company that i was going to have make my turbo is http://www.innovativeturbo.com Do you recomend getting the t3/t4 or you think i should just stick with something else.

I'd need to know which trim compressor wheel it uses to compare maps.

For those #'s with the least lag you want a GT28RS BB (disco potatoe).
