Doug's Dyno Power turbo kits???
 

i just saw an ad for Doug's Dyno Power in Super Street...they have turbo kits for the 5 spd and AT lancers on sale for 3000...i called them and the kits include pretty much everything that the RRM ones include...I'm not sure about the quality though...I'm gonna try to get more info on them and from them...i'm just glad that they at least offer a kit for the AT...50-90 hp increase...thats what it says in their ad...the kits are made to order...if anyone can give me info on the company i would appreciate it...

Run a search for them on these forums. DSM's have had serious problem with DDP turbo kits.

Wow, he's done with it. I remember talking to Doug in December of last year and the kit was supposed to be in Feb. then it was april. now he's done though, hope all that time was q.c. testing.

Yeah I remember a DDY turbokit way back in November of last year When igot my car and that was a little while ago I hope its a stable platform I read about dougs v6 eclipse turbo and its pretty good. Keep us posted

I have never heard of anybody having problems with Doug. He is a great guy. Give him a call.

I'm not sure if this was a general statement or if this is what your car did but if it is the latter I'm wondering at how much boost was this achieved and if your talking about wheel hp. Also what is your setup.

Not Doug himself. The kits. I heard and read less than favorable reviews from a few DSM tuners.

Yeah I've seen some complaints about his kits in other forums, eclipse and galant forums. I do not speak on the validity of these complaints or on the quality of his kit. I guess someone has to be the guinea pig, just not me (especially not for 3 grand).

Exactly. I can't say I know a damn thing personally, but a bad review on something that costs several grand and cand cause your car to cease operating is more than deterrent (sp?) enough for me. :crap:

You're probably thinking about the 3rd-gen Eclipse, not DSMs. DDP's kits haven't worked out so well for them, historically.

Honestly, I was reading these things when I first joined Lancer forums 10 months ago...I really don't remember. And my friend who tuned his two 1g's had a less than favorable review of them.
