Rear door speakers
I've been thinking about putting a 6.5" speaker in each back door. Found some posts where people have put them in but they just mounted them in the door panel. I was wondering if anyone has actually done it like the front doors, grille and all?

Something like that. It still "looks" like those are mounted on the outside, know what I mean? I want them looking like the front doors, stock. Think I might just find some grill material and try to shape it to the door then get up enough courage to start cutting..lol

There are only really 3 options when you look at putting in rear door speakers.
1) Make a custom fiberglass mold like above, which looks awesome if done correctly.
2) Cut a hole in the door skin and put speakers in with some sort of guard that comes over them such as this:
3) Remove the door skin, make a custom mounting bracket built onto the door innards, then cut a hole in the door skin with OEM style mesh covering it so it looks like a "stealth" install.
Its going to be hard to do rear door speakers because of the curvature or the door curving inwards. The best bet would be either option 1 or 2. --3 would be the hardest in my opinion.

Option number 2 is probably gonna be the easiest one to do. Just try to find a different style grill to put over the speaker. Maybe even felt or some kind of screen would work good to stretch over it.

There are no stock rear door speakers in a RalliArt. Figured out how I could make 'em stealth so they will look like the front door grills. Just gotta find some grill material that looks the same.
