Rubber gromet
when i first did my system i ran a 4 gauge wire through the fender but didnt go through the grommet but just into the car and under the carpet.... after a couple friends told me how cheap it looked...i went throught the firewall....jst feed the wire into the passenger side and take the glove compartment out>theres a little piece that pops out on the left so u can take the glove box out....it took me a while to get the wire but after u do jst run it down the side under the dash and under the carpet 2 the trunk...and done! nice clean wire install...
here are a couple of pics...the first is the hole through the firewall from the engine bay and the second is where it exits...u cant see any of the wires unless u remove the glove box.

dealer), then re-run the wiring through the firewall (drill a hole and use a small rubber grommet), or run it through the existing wiring grommet behind the glovebox as ^ has already mentioned. Running the wire through the firewall (or existing wire boot), will be much safer, and should eliminate your in-car-flooding problem.

it still hasn't fixed the problem so i was wondering if i could buy a new grommet and if it was at all possible to take the wires out of the grommet and put the stock wires back through? any help is greatly appreciated
