Hey purecoda , out of curiousity, do you normally keep your sub in the position pictured and how did you secure it?

the passenger's side rattle, if it is the same as mine, is actually coming from the ac foot vent. my plastic plug kept coming out, but once i got it secure, the rattle was gone.

Plastikote makes a spray-on truck-bed liner... Do your spare tire well and trunk floor with it... Really reduces the noise.

my boss at my new job works with carbon fiber and things as well... he has a new dynamat-like product made from a fiber weave that works just as well, only it weighs like 10 times less and can be used anywhere (no heat issues). i'll post pics if and when he gives me some.

For those with license plate rattle due to bass, try some foam weather stripping on the back of the plate(s). I cover the entire backside, and it goes from rattling like a **** to none at all.

for those who find dynamat too expensive, you can try brown bread or similar knock-offs easily found on ebay. i've heard some pretty good things about cascade as well, which you can buy at www.mmxpress.com

i'm now waiting for the new 2004 speakers to come out before i do my car in dynamat. i'll post the how to then.

My question is... If theres a fire in your trunk... What would you do if the fire extinguisher is in... Your trunk?

I duno, I looked at the image and I thought it was a F/Ex next to the amp.

Thanks for the tips though, they work! and its easy!
