Driving around an 08 GTS and my passenger side tweeter has blown out, I've already taken off the sails to check what lies behind but a little hesitant to pull any more panels off. what I'm looking at is a small male plug which pretty much goes into the speaker itself. I'm nothing much of an electrical/speaker guy so I really have no idea what I'm looking at. I wish I could post pictures but my camera isn't compatible to the new computer.

My question is I'm looking at the stock basic tweeters on rockford's website and the plugs in the car look nothing alike. What should I be doing? buying a new set of tweeters for both sides and just removing the case to slide them back in or should I be taking off more of my door panel to see if there are any crossovers and such?

Shouldn't they be covered under warranty?

I would always replace speakers in 2's, might get distorted sound.
