Hi everyone, I recently bought my first car (2010 CJ) and decided I wanted a double din Head Unit with touch screen and all the fancy jazz. I found a head unit from a wrecked out 2016 Lancer and installed it into my car. The head unit itself is working perfectly, music is playing, volume is turning etc. The issue is now my car won’t start, and when I flip the ignition I’m presented with several errors including a “get serviced” error. I’m wondering if it’s possible to fix the issue I’m having, and who I should contact to sort it. I’ve been told I need to reprogram something, but no one I’ve talked to has been fully sure on what to do, hence coming here for help. Any recommendations would be appreciated, I’m not too bummed if the head unit won’t end up working considering I scored the facia for $50.
