does anybody know if pioneer tweeter speakers will fit in road race motorsports carbon fiber a pillars? since there is a hole in them i figured that i would get tweeters but i went to the store today and they look way to big to fit in the a pillar, if anyone knows whats up post up, thanks.

 

I think the tweeter holes are for stock tweeter grills from the factory. This would mean that the stock A pillar would be the place to look and see if the tweeter fits.

 

if you want good tweeters, go with alpine Type-S..i got them and they rock! their tweeters are adjustable , you can change their angles from the stock speaker locations..

 

will they fit in our lancers a-pillars, im going to go ahead and assume they do since you have them...

 

yeh, they fit perfectly believe it or not, size is 6 1/2 wide. The grill won't fit though, so i just used the stock mesh for the speakers, but believe me, it's awesome. If you wanna spend a couple hundred bucks more you can get the Type-R..if you're really into sound, but the Type-S is good enough for me. The guys that installed the speakers adjusted the tweeters for me too for the best sound quality..which is kinda nice. It does lose the bass from the stock Infinity speakers, just put a sub in to fix the problem
