I got a story....wanna hear it....here it goes....

I bought my car about 1 1/2 months ago. Someone had the car before me for about 1800 miles. I got a good deal on the car and didn't think there would be any problems.......I was wrong. I wanted to change the colors of my radio by taking off the blue condoms that are on the lights....but thats another story.

Apparently the person that had the car had put a different stereo in the car.

When I pulled out my radio......This is what I found............

he figgured out what all those wires went to (smart)
why didnt he just buy a wiring harness if you buy a new car im sure you can afford ten dollars (dumbass)

The dealer had better replace the entire wire setup

honestly, there isn't really much the dealer can do. they'd have to run all new lines. maybe if you found a junked out lancer, you could cut the plug but get more wire on it?

anyhow, i say its time to run your own lines, and amp it. don't even have to be that expensive, and its not that hard. i'll be doing it soon with the new pioneer 35X4 amp for under 100, and amp kits for about 30 bucks total.

sorry to see that though man. i would have been mad as this guy ---> :rant:

Good news....
The dealer is rebuilding the connector by cutting an re-pinning it.

Whew...
Will post a pic later in the day......

I've had good luck with my dealer.....They fix any issue I come up with....ie. finance, oil change, Electrical etc.
