Im workin on a 2003 Lancer ES automatic

he wants MORE power so i was under the impression that an EVO 8 ECU would bolt up and i would have to swap mad wires.

FALSE

i will put this out there for clarification for everyone

EVO 8 ECU WILL NOT PLUG IN to an Auto trans lancer ecu. the plugs are differant
(has anyone solved this problem with some simplicity)

i keep hearing about a dual ecu but in all the pin outs I have seen, I do not see anything in the ecu that controls the trans. (any input or more pinouts would be great)

i have already bought an evo 8 AEM EMS and am determined to get it to work.

Road Race motorsports has installed THREE!!!!!!!!!!! boxes to modify his stock ecu to make more power but it will NOT idle right NO power off boost. and stechy power on boost.

im willing to represent ALL the automatic guys and experiment with this car if i can get some help.

I will make a full write up one i get it workin.

thanks
welcome to the site and its been discussed in the past that the ecu wouldnt bolt up and in turn we had the help of roadspike create a special rom using an evo thepra rom and my stock auto rom to make tuning the auto lancers better with ecuflash on the stock ecu https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/la...-map-roms.html

i was running speed density at 15psi on this rom with no problems

Question for 06

I’ve got a 06 I’m trying to do a haltech swap for the 64 swap, but the 06 is a 4 plug. Just wondering if they’re same plug setup so I could do a plug and play instead of full wire in
