Reflashing Factory ECU

Has anyone successfully reflashed the factory ECU yet on the new 4B11/4B12 vehicles. We have succesfully read the rom and are writing a defitinion file now for the Open ECU reflashing on our 1st vehicle, a 2.4 CVT 2008 CJ lancer in Australia.

Would be interesting to speak with other people who have done this to help us speed up our research into improving the vehicles power, torque and throttle response.

Would be interesting to compare the maps of the USA model vehicles and see if ther are any improvements there over our Australian models.

Yes Works is the only one. Are you guys planning to sell the definition file once you're done? What equipment is needed to flash the car if you have the ROM file?

The only equipment will be the OpenPort 2.0 Traxtrix cable.

I am having to pay someone to make the definition file for me, and then we need to test it on a vehicle. I could probably be bribed easily enough to sell out the definition file once we complete it on our vehicles in Australia. Once we do some true back to back tuning with it, I will update and let people know.

Yes we can provide cheap flash tunes now for anyone and can with email datalogging provide advanced tuning options. We have sorted out the majority of Definition files for most lancer models now.

Visit either the ClubCJ or the 9GLancer groups for feedback on our flash tunes

Well, for WORKS, you either drive to one of their facilities, or you remove your ECU and mail it to them and they'll reflash it. As for the guy that posted above, i have no idea... but i assume it's the same process.

We use OpenEcu for our reflashing work so we only need a copy of your rom via email, modify it and return it back. We provide a definition file which allows the rom to be written back to the ecu.

There's a place in PR that do the reflashes on the cars for 250.00 on the dyno... perhaps if you guys arrange something with him you might get a mail in group reflash or something.
