Interesting info regarding cat removal / test pipe install

Is it that hard removing the cat? I want to install my kamikaze headers this weekend. Any suggestions.

yes, I suggest you only install one header. It's the only way it'll work

Yes, it's a fed law. If someone wants to tag you on it, they may.

You can only touch the cat-converter if it's defective or over 50 or 75K in mileage (can't remember exactly) . . . I'm sure you can find the fed statue somewhere on the net.

my cat is defective right now and clogging the hell out of my OZ, i think im going to run a test pipe and put the new bung in for the o2, i live in michigan and here we don't have emissions laws or testing for it, the most ive ever had happen was a stern talking to about my loud cat-back at the time....if you don't have emissions laws and testing in your state, i think you should be fine....

if im wrong someone please correct me
