I put in the AEM CAI a few weeks ago, so finally decided to cut out one of the resonators and put on the test pipe. what i found out is that the canadian lancer OZ only has 1 resonator and 1 catalytic convertor. As well, the test pipe is NOT necessary as the
Canadian lancer doesn't have the device hooked up to the exhaust that if removed will cause the check engine light to go on.. so yeah just cut out the cat for 20$ and put on an eliminator pipe, not i get mad torque at 4000RPM =)

The US Lancer has only 1 resonator. I bet you DO have two cats though. The first is in the manifold and the second is under teh car. The point of the test pipe isn't to stop a CEL, it's to free the flow of your exhaust. As for the two sensors I can't confirm or deny it, but I find that a bit odd. Again, first would be in the manifold, second before the second cat. Any pics of the underside of the car? I don't plan on going to Canada anytime soon.
I was about to say the same thing. No matter how many times people look under their hood they usually dont even see the first cat b/c of the heat shield. hell I didnt even know until I read about it on RRM website that my car had two cats.
