same as mine... ^^ I finance... but that's a different story... coz we own the car... so we can do whatever we want to it... in worse case... if we can't make up the monthly payments.. then car will belong to the bank not the dealer... so they won't say anything....

but for lease car... the dealer is the holder.... so if you are messing your leased car... they will point it out...

some of my friends modify their leased car.... but it's the dealer who's selling the after-market parts to them... so that's not an issue at all.... coz they're making money for the lease, modification, installation, and the services...

um... just my warning to bigmauth... make sure before you install the parts.... no point to mess up your newly leased agreement... ^^

yea and my point is, as long as you dont mess up any of the parts and you return the car to stock when you give the car back you're fine. my friends dont buy parts from dealer regardless if they lease it.

im not sure what would happen during servicing, since everyone does their own. so i cant help you with that.

Leasing a car does NOT mean you have to take it to the dealer for service. I do service on leased vehicles everyday. The only thing that most people don't know is that usually in your lease agreement you are agreeing to keep up on the preventative maintenance of the vehicle.

I've seen so many people that don't do a damn thing maintenance wise on the vehicle (except straight oil change) because it's "just a lease". Then when they trade it in the dealer charges them to do the services that they were supposed to do.

My advice to you is read your lease agreement super carefully, keep on the maintenance and definitely keep your receipts!

You don't have to go to your dealer for oil changes(do them yourself, it's easy and cheaper), since you'll have the intake, you wont have to worry about filters. Anything else (Such as warranty work, recalls, ect) Just take the intake off before you go in. Technically it's considered fraud, but as long as the intake wasn't the cause of anything breaking, you don't need to give them a reason to bust your *****.

But hey, if you decide to not install the intake, you can always return it, or throw it up on the marketplace here... people always buy em up.
