im getting my head from llt-racing they specialize in sohc to dohc for the lancers and the guy told me there is no difference in power between the two, and has dyno graphs to prove it. its just harder to install because you have to change around the wires for the ecu. this is coming from him.

 

I'd be interested in seeing those. The MIVEC version was in Mitsubishi's hottest of hatches and was designed as an answer to Honda's B16B in the Civic Type R

 

You can swap mostly any motor into any car but it just depends on how deep your pocket is. Why not swap in a Evo motor?

 

Yea true, it all depends on how deep your pockets are and mine aren't lol. It was just a question I threw out there to see what people would say or of anyone has thought about it or done it before. I'm getting the dohc head beginning of next month so I'll do a How to and take alot of pics.
