OBX pulley vs RRM pulley
i just recived the pulley today and i also put it on, took about an hour and was extremely easy when u have 2 sets of hands and an impact gun
. i really didnt notice much of a difference in first gear but it FLYS through the other gears like nothing, there is a definite change in acceleration. im extremely pleased with this pulley, it felt well built and was packaged very nicely, i would recommend this to anyone. now ive never seen a RRM pulley so i really have nothing to compare this to but its an amazing pulley at an amazing price, $75 shipped.

I have the RRM crank pulley installed. No problems for the last 6000km and it certainly looks sturdy even now. It has increased the throttle response throughout the powerband noticably from stock.

Thanks Timereaper. Nice Sportback by the way
I took the plunge and had the dealer (Mid-Toronto Mitsubishi) install the RRM pully this evening while I had the car in for an oil change. The drive home with the pully and Sprint Booster set to 'red'was a lot of fun!

Just in case anyone asks, my RRM crank pulley is installed in a CVT. It gave it new life with that slush box. CVT seems to undermine my foot to pedal at every turn trying to conserve gas.... crank pulley helped to make the throttle more responsive

My mod angle is low end power since that seems to be where the CVT slushes around most of the time and you're usually in the 1000-2500rpm most of the time. Now it feels awesome all the way up to 70km/h!
I have the K&N drop in filter as well, but was on the fence about the RRM Timing Control box. Aside from the reviews on the RRM website, I wasn't able to find a review. Nice to see someone with positive results from that unit.
For the messy weather, I leave the sprint booster on green. That's my threshold for fun with low grip
