Where do you buy an upper oil pan

Has anyone ever needed a new one, poorly drilled theirs, or had cracks that were beyond repair?

I can't find one for sale anywhere, is used the only option?

*edit* Damn it...found it at mitsubishiparts.com, it's like 150 bucks...how did I not find that sooner....

Unlike evo one, we have an oil pan (upper) and then this lil black piece that bolts onto it (lower).

And it would give me an excuse to check that car of yours out! I guess as part of this, does anyone know how thick the metal is on the pan, and it is aluminum, right? If it's too thin to drill and tap safely, then I'm going to buy someone's used pan and take it to a local guy to have him weld the return in. My other option is to try "alumiweld" but so far, it's not quite as solid as welding i don't think....crap ton better than jbweld though.

Nope he means upper oil pan trust me. As he already stated our oil pans are two parts an upper and lower oil pan. Just look under your car you can see the little black bottom is bolted to the upper pan which is then bolted to the block.

HAHA, I owned that oil pan! The tap is possibly my best work on the whole project! I got the 45 degree 5/8" hose barb, and that thing is perfect.
